Hey, everybody, how you doing? This week I decided to make a recipe with heura, which is a kind of fake vegan chicken sold in organic shops. It actually tastes a lot like chicken, so from now on it’s a new ingredient that will be in my kitchen. This time I decided to make it with vegetables and beans and a finger lickin’ sauce.
- Coconut oil
- Coconut milk
- Sesame seeds
- Sautee the heura with the onion stems, garlic and parsley for 5 minutes, then set aside on a plate.
- In the same pan we put all the vegetables to cook, I used coconut oil to sauté them but you can use olive oil or any other type of oil. We will cook it for 10 minutes at medium heat taking care that it doesn’t stick.
- Then we add the beans already drained and the heura we had set aside, we add the can of coconut milk and spices, in this case use a mixture of turmeric, paprika and black pepper.
- Finally we decorate with a black sesame seed, you can also use pipes, nuts or any other seed. I hope you will try it. It is delicious!
